I was under the impression that -release was overseeing the QA requirements for Jessie are being satisfied when it comes to GNOME on non-Linux ports. I take note that's no longer the case and will drop the list from CC in future mails regarding this issue. Apologies for any inconvenience this missunderstanding may have caused. -- Robert Millan
