Debian GNU/Hurd GRUB2 mbr install fails
Hi,
Im running the netinst installer of Debian Gnu/Hurd
(debian-6.0-hurd-i386-NETINST-1.iso), and get the following message
when the installer tries to install grub2 in the mbr :
" executing grub-install /dev/hd2 failed "
It appears that the installer is attempting to install GRUB on the
boot CD/drive (/dev/hd2), instead of on the install/partitioned disk
(/dev/sd0) ?
I had to choose for the option: ' do not install on the mbr ', and
manually select the right (installation) disk: /dev/sd0.
Someone may want to look into this.
Thanks,
Regards,
John Smith.
