I am Binu J Raj,an Engineering student.I planned to do my academic project in Hurd ie. to create a new tarball ..modifying the existing one.. But the little knowledge that i am provided with is the only barrier.. I got motivation from no where.. What i wish to know is , how can i add package files to tarball? How can i select packages to add to the main archive? Please help me.. I am in trouble now.

To get a better idea how we can help you, can you maybe present yourself
a bit, e.g. who you are, where you come from, why you want to work on
the Hurd, and who motivated/asked you to do so.
