[Debian-Hurd] Aptitude broken?

Hi,

For quiet a while the ncurses interface of aptitude seems broken. It
just freezes without attempting any command after 3 or 5 seconds...

But not only that. Now it's not possible to "upgrade" through
aptitude. Whether with safe-upgrade of full-upgrade I always get:

*** glibc detected *** aptitude: malloc(): memory corruption:
0x08346688 ***
Abort

The work aroun for this is to "apt-get install" all packages "aptitude
*-upgrade" was going to install/upgade. However as there's no gpm
available for the console, it's kind of hard to try writting all
packages for the apt-get thing... Is this glibc problem known
already? The versions of aptitude and libc0.3 are:

aptitude - 0.4.10-1
libc0.3 - 2.7-6

Hopefully someone knows about this, :).

Thanks,
