The o/p of the above first two commands gives
Broadcast msg
The system is going for system halt NOW!
Shutdown:timeout opening/writing control channel /dev/initctl
init:timeout opening/writing control channel /dev/initctl
mickey:~# shutdown -r now /*Does not work*/
I am forced to do a reboot to get out.
