OK, I tried something, but with no final success yet... 1) `qemu -hda /dev/hda10 -fda grub-0.95-i386-pc.ext2fs -boot a` This seems not to recognize the table partition of /dev/hda10, thus failing to start. 2) `qemu -hda /dev/hda -fda grub-0.95-i386-pc.ext2fs -boot a` Obviously I changed the parameters of the grub disk image (available at [1]) to match my configuration, but it ends up with the error message ext2fs_check_if_mount: (os/kern) invalid address while determining whether /dev/hd0s1 is mountd. fasck.ext2: Unknown code P 2 while trying to open /dev/hd0s1 /dev/hd0s10 is correctly mounted, but read-only because of the error above. Other suggestions? Thx, bye, Gismo / Luca Footnotes: [1] ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/grub/
