problem with network configuration

Heyho,

today I installed Hurd via crosshurd and it runs at the moment stable and so on, but now I tried chapter 7.1 of the GNU/Hurd install-guide and setted up the network with:

settrans -fgap /servers/socket/2 /hurd/pfinet -i eth0 -a 192.168.1.3 -g 192.168.1.1 -m 255.255.255.0

and then I get:

/hurd/pfinet: eth0: (os/device) no such device
settrans: /hurd/pfinet: Translator died

I do not know what that really means but maybe my network card is not supported. lspci under my sarge says:

0000:00:0b.0 Ethernet controller: Davicom Semiconductor, Inc. 21x4x DEC-Tulip compatible 10/100 Ethernet (rev 31)

uname under Hurd said, that I use the Version 0.3 of GNU/Hurd.
Can anyone give me a hint, why this error comes?

TIA Pierre

BTW: Sorry for my bad english.
