I'm setting up my first HURD system and was wondering if the 1GB partition limit bug had been fixed yet... Yes, it still exists; but you can usually use partitions <2GB (but this might not work on all machines). And the system you are using is called Debian GNU/Hurd, not "HURD". Cheers
