library breakage (Fwd: [PATCH] GNU/Hurd and GNU/k*BSD fixes (w/ChangeLog))

Hi there!

I just sent this to gnulib maintainers. Anyone porting libraries for GNU/Hurd
or GNU/k*BSD should be aware that library packages using "lib-prefix.m4" or
"lib-link.m4" from gnulib are currently broken for GNU/Hurd and GNU/k*BSD.

For GNU/Hurd, if you find a library that doesn't build with shared objects for
some reason, have a quick look for lib-link.m4 or lib-prefix.m4. (the same
applies to GNU/k*BSD if you find a library that even after re-libtoolising
has this problem)
