Ok then, fine. I don't think Adam failed though. I do think the Hurd
people sort of fled the actual discussion when it finally gained a bit
more (technical) depth, as was the case with Adam, and I tried the same.

Ok, but it's a bit of a pity IMHO that you bring this up when we're
getting at what I thought was the heart of the matter, something that
could be used to amend the Debian policy in a good, general way:

"When do you think, *in general*, that new directories under /
*should* be created?"

I tried to get some good, general criteria out of you guys, but failed.
Too bad then. Don't worry though, I'll stop trying, and see /hurd as
something so totally unique, that it has no comparable concept in the
whole field of operating systems, and that its contents cannot be
classified in any general, meaningful way. Ok?
