H1 images - comments and questions.

More packages are being pushed onto the second CD which means that my
crude priority scheme is breaking down. I am now concentrating on
identifying groups of packages for specific tasks and using using these to
supplement the present ordering system. I have three such groups.

initial.sh
at logrotate console-data info man-db manpages mailx exim
bsdmainutils console-common ncurses-term doc-linux-text perl lynx anacron
aptitude mc screen sudo vim inetutils dialog
No problems. Any suggestions for additions?

developer.sh
gcc cpp mig g++ make make-doc pmake m4
autoconf automake autotools-dev libtool bash bash-doc cvs gdb
diff patch
gcc-doc, cpp-doc, gdb-doc are not in sid. Otherwise OK.

gui.sh
x-window-system-core lbxproxy proxymngr twm xdm xfs xfwp
xnest xprt xspecs xterm xvfb xserver-xfree86 xlibmesa3 xfonts-base
xfonts-100dpi xfonts-75dpi xfonts-scalable xbase-clients xutils
However, when I tried to run X it complained that libXft.so.1,
libXmuu.so.1, libXpm.so.4 (or some such) were missing. Careful checking
showed that they were installed (symlinks). I am not personally very
interested in X, but it would be helpful to others if there was some
hints included with the images for people using the CDs.

Can anyone suggest other tasks, but please include a list of the
packages!!

Documentation.

Suggestions please, with URLs. Even better, send it to me.

tftpboot.img's
Does anyone want these on the CDs?

At this stage it looks as though we might be moving onto the fourth CD. I
am tempted to drop the "extra" filesystem, ie packages that are not
included on the main CDs because of dependency problems. Would there be
any objections if I were to do this?

The move from boot-floppies 2.2.23 to 3.0.14 was nasty, then 3.0.15 came
out, 3.0.16 is due out in the next week or so. However, H1 looks good.
apt is still a pain.
