Well, at some point today my brain started working again, and I was easily able to solve the problem by first doing a 'make install-headers no_deps=t' After that it compiled (most of the way at least) just fine. I'm not quite through it yet (it's a doozy), but I think now that by brain is working again it won't be a problem. Thanks again, jamie
