It does actually happen. The media just ignores GNU and calls it
"The Hurd operating system". Some time ago i saw a PC world
article titled "The Hurd" where "GNU" wasn't mentioned at all.
I think we should emphatise "GNU" if we want the media to keep
consideration towards it on their articles.
