FILE struct and _fileno

Hello,

 Today I came across two programs that wouldn't compile because
of the symbol _fileno not being defined in the FILE struct.  However,
one of these programs explictly checked for glibc.

xlife: bug /w patch in BTS then works
xmille: bug /w patch in BTS then works
xgalaga: Compiles but does not package
xmahjongg: works out of the box
