twm and xfree 4.1.0
Hello
as i posted in an earlier version i tested the xfree 4.1.0
packages markus supplied.
And i had the error that twm had no menu.
Now i got the big tar ball xfree86_4.1.0.orig.tar.gz (51MB)
But i dont know how to unpack it and start the build of the
xfree packages. If i do a dpkg-source -x xfree86_4.1.0-0pre1v3.dsc
i get a directory xfree86-4.1.0 which contains the directories
debian and upstream...
But i cant run dpk-buildpackage on this.
And now i dont know further.
But i could find out why twm has no menu.
If i install the binary package i only have the file
/etc/X11/twm/system.twmrc-menu
under linux i have:
menudefs.hook system.twmrc system.twmrc-menu system.twmrc.twm-old
I think these files get generated by the update-menus program.
Which gets called from twm.postinst.
If i execute update-menus it crashes with
krypton:/etc/menu-methods# update-menus
Update-menus[241]: Script /etc/menu-methods//twm recieved signal 13.
Is this sigpipe?
If i find out more ill let you know.
Thanks Fabian
