If you care about it, and you seem to do so, please revise the patch and
make sure that it is reported upstream and to the Debian maintainer. Posting
on this list is okay, but not good enough. Someone needs to keep track of it
and makes sure there will be a Debian package that does contain the proper
fix. It's best for the person who wrote the patch to do that, but it's also
okay for someone else to do so.
