I will explain the original message for the sake of the younger folks.
Never, EVER hack into somebody else's system if someone asks you to, either
directly or (as in this case) indirectly. They are placing you in severe
jeopardy! The best case scenario is they are asking you to do something
illegal. Other scenarios include them SETTING YOU UP for something worse.
TRUST NO ONE WHO ASKS YOU TO HACK INTO ANOTHER SYSTEM! There are no white
hats only people asking for a whole lot of trouble. I consider my original
reply to be quite appropriate for the message sent, which I consider to be
totally inappropriate. I have no problem backing off inappropriate and
dysfunctional behavior. I find backing off dysfuctional behavior in a
friendly way rarely works. Save your chastisement for the rubes.
