Cross-Binutils

Hi!

Still not got the HURD moved his own box :-(....

But I am wondering if it is possible/ok to use a cross-compiler (which
seems to work) and binutils-multiarch (because cross-binutils don't
work). I know i can specify the target binary format for ld, so will
'ld -b elf32-i386' work?

Another question: Does anybody know what is going on with an HURD/a386
port? If I were a better (kernel/OS) hacker and had more time, I would
perhaps play with it (since I could work in user-space, in my
full-fledged linux devel environment ;-))

Thx,
  Andy
