Since I have VMWare to run NT under Linux - I decided to try it with The Hurd as the discussion came up. It works - very slowly. You'll need to play with partition locations (obviously) as VMWare doesn't report them the same way to Grub. There may be a way to boot off of a virtual floppy - however for my quick test I just used a regular floppy. --Eric.
