You are supposed to reboot!

(but we would accepot a fix anyway. It's just not easy, and really
can be avoided by a reboot)

This will not be done before the next release, but after.
There are some interface changes for that in a different
branch in CVS.

Please check the mailing list for "fdisk" and "libstore" and "disk 
geometry".
