(Score: -1, Troll). Actually, there are plenty of people for whom Windows is
their favourite operating system. And no matter what you think of Microsoft,
there's no good reason why we can't look at Windows for interesting ideas.

Database performance; you can optimize the filesystem to make seeking to or
searching records easy. There are still plenty of people buying IBM
mainframes. :)
