I'd just like to clarify some things.
1) When do the rc files start? Is it right
after the root partition
has been mounted?
2) Will it be possible to use grub to select
which runlevel you
enter?
3)If these other 2 are true, each runlevel
could even have it's own
fstab.
4) Is this the idea for what files will boot?
/etc/rc.d/rc.runlevelname/rc.start
/etc/rc.d/rc.runlevelname/rc.stop
In rc.start variables for fstab, and others
such as to avoid
symlinks
FSTAB=./fstab or /etc/fstab
# /etc/fstab would be the default if no other would be
assigned.
