Booting the Hurd (boot errors)
Hey, thanks for the help. Im now able to actualy start the booting of the
Hurd. this is what I entered into GRUB:
root=(hd0,4)
kernel=/boot/gnumach.gz root=hd0s4
module=/boot/serverboot (I 'gunzip -d serverboot.gz' as per the
suggestion of a previous post, should
I have left it gz'd?)
I then typed 'boot' and away it went. But then after it did the
initial booting, it got past serial devices I think, and got this
error:
hd04: bad access: block=28, count 2, blockend=30, nr_sects
end request: I/O error, dev 03:03, sector 28
it then hung. can anyone help diagnose the problem here?
