dpkg-hurd install script error

Hello,

	I was installing HURD, using the '.deb' packages from DEBIAN's FTP
site, using the scripts from alpha.gnu.org: 

alpha.gnu.org/pub/gnu/hurd/contrib/marcus/cross-install
alpha.gnu.org/pub/gnu/hurd/contrib/marcus/native-install
alpha.gnu.org/pub/gnu/hurd/contrib/marcus/dpkg-hurd 

The script dpkg-hurd gives errors, and quits. Here is a listing of
install.log ...

/hurd/dpkg-hurd: [: too many arguments

I don't know shell scripts, please help me.
