Just curious- when I installed hurd on a spare partition a lil time ago (I killed it with a misargument to settrans, and couldn't figure out how to get things to work right again), I had a problem with suspending applications - Ctrl+Z would kill the program. Does this still happen? Until screen works I guess I can use emacs- I just can't stand to leave the machine alone while doing long compiles :) -David Waite
