Egad Gordon! The debug-symbol libc package is too huge -- I tried to install it this morning (after downloading overnight) and the "default pager" under Hurd died (after the unpack ran for a few minutes) because it couldn't provide any more memory. Any idea how I can get this to work? Is a "dpkg -x" under Linux sufficient, or are there many install scripts that have to run? Thanks, -Brent
