Just a quick thanks for the recommendation to use the "map" command when attempting to boot Windows from a non-primary partition. Your suggestion worked flawlessly, and I am now able to boot into Linux on my main drive, or Windows on an old small hard drive I reinstalled recently. This is fantastic. Kudos to the GRUB team! And in my book, GRUB is far and away the best boot loader out there. -Brent
