That will be part of my problems building buster release. Having boot issues after upgrading from stretch installer. Currently working through the issues. Keep up the good work.

I'm happy to test, but I assume on most architectures you will
currently get an unbootable system due to a bug in klibc which
is needed for the initramfs:
