Heya folks,

Any idea what's going on with http://ftp.debian-ports.org? I've been
getting a lot of 'filesize mismatch' errors on packages from there, to
the point that I finally commented them out in my
/etc/apt/sources.list and just use http://ftp.parisc-linux.org for my
primary source now.
No, I haven't seen the problem. The uploads to
http://ftp.debian-ports.org have md5 sums and are signed. I think
the md5 sum is checked before a package is accepted.

http://ftp.parisc-linux.org is frozen.

"Frozen"? ..as in not updated anymore, or what? No comprende. :-)
Exactly.

All new builds are going to ports. Tried really hard over weekend
to get to the point where debootstrap would work from ports. There's
quite a bit of new stuff on ports now..

http://ftp.parisc-linux.org is still needed to fill in packages that haven't been
updated on ports.
