I went trough this mailing list to make my three(!) HP C8000 work. I
had the same issue and followed your advice to insert a serial card.
Success! (budget, cheapest model, some moschip on it) It is detected
and using TTYS0 and after B0 turn-off boot is displayed trough the
card. Full boot log, at the moment says it cannot detect the scsi
cdrom but this is during the install menu now (but it booted/detected
from it already…). Very happy I am. I might try to boot it from usb
cdrom, hope daily hppa has drivers forthat and palo supports boot from
it. I cannot tftp it. Still fw 2.10 palo. Boot details after B0 turn-off:
