More data points:
ruby1.9 failed on the hppa experimental buildds too, but this part of
the build was successful. It failed later. See

I couldn't reproduce the failure of the unstable buildds on the system
provided by Thibaut.
hppa buildd admins, could you tell us which kernel version are penalosa
and peri running?
