Floppy on 715/50

Hi,

As far as I know, the floppy drive on the 715/50 is SCSI.
With HP-UX there where tools for reading DOS formatted floppies, but I can't manage to do anything with Linux (using mtools for instance).

When I try to use it, I always get something like (this is not the actual data):

sda: Write Protect is off
sda : READ CAPACITY failed.
sda : status = 1, message = 00, host = ...
Raw sense data:0x70 0x00 [...more hexa]
sda: I/O error: ...
unable to read partition table
...

Until I remove the floppy.

So, can I use that floppy and how?

Thanks for help.
