more 2.6.3 adventures on a 712
Hello again!
It seems that something else might have changed between 2.4 and 2.6:
1) keyboard and mouse support. Enabled CONFIG_SERIO_GSCPS2 (I thought would be
enough), but ended up having to add CONFIG_KEYBOARD_ATKBD and CONFIG_MOUSE_PS2.
Shouldn't CONFIG_SERIO_GSCPS2 be dependant upon them, then, in the configuration
scripts (enable CONFIG_SERIO_GSCPS2 and the others also get enabled magically)?
2) power switch and power light. These seem to be gone. That is, the power
light no longer lights (neither flashes if the kernel dies) and pressing the
switch immediately kills the power, instead of initiating a shutdown. Still
works using a 2.4 kernel. What options should be enabled and in which menu?
