mh, permissions seem to be ok. but the size is strange:
-rwxr-xr-x 2 root root 12460 Jun 6 10:43 /usr/bin/perl

on my i386 system i have:
-rwxr-xr-x 2 root root 987564 Jun 5 17:03 /usr/bin/perl

that's a _very_ big size difference. is that normal? both, i386 and hppa
machines have installed perl-base 5.8.0-18.

bye
