visualize fx2 on c200

hi,

i have 2 questions:

1. does the visualize fx2 in the c200 is ever likely to be supported by
XFree86? in console it is working but no penguin.
or is there any way to get it work with linux and X?

2. the following cards are in the machine:

bluefish:~# lspci
00:01.0 Multimedia video controller: 3Dfx Interactive, Inc. Voodoo 2
(rev 02)
00:03.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc 264VT [Mach64
VT] (rev 40)

tonight i am going to compile kernel 2.4.19 from unstable with as much
fb devices as modules as i can get through.

didn't i read a thread about voodoo2's lately here?

which card is likely to work, the voodoo2 or the ati?

i also have 2 matrox millennium2 lying around here.
should i give them a try?

thanks,

good evening,

alex
