XFree86 / framebuffer
Hi,
after a complete new installation from the 7-CD-set Debian3.0 I'm suffering
from problems with XFree86 and the framebuffer. KDE worked together with the
0.93-prerelease of Woody on my 712-100 as well as on my 715-64/ without
problems. After installing the offical Woody (from the CD-set) and doing an
apt-get update/dist-upgrade (stable + testing) today, XFree86 isn't able to
find any devices / screens. 2.4.17 or 2.4.18-pa61, same problem.

So far, so bad. - Maybe an problem with the precomiled kernel ? -> trying to
compile it on my own : make dep ->
make[2]: Entering directory /usr/src/kernel-source-2.4.18-hppa/arch/parisc/kbd
make[2]: *** No rule to make target fastdep. Stop.
Wow, cool ... What did I make wrong ?
