Chicken doesn't build on hppa

Hi, according to http:/buildd.debian.org Chicken 0.1071-1 build failed
with this error:
gcc -shared runtime.lo library.lo eval.lo syntax-case.lo modules.lo profiler.lo -lm -ldl -lm -lc -Wl,-soname -Wl,libchicken.so.0 -o .libs/libchicken.so.0.0.0
/usr/bin/ld: library.lo(.text+0x3f12c): cannot reach 00000035_C_restore_rest+0, recompile with -ffunction-sections
/usr/bin/ld: library.lo(.text+0x3f12c): cannot handle R_PARISC_PCREL17F for C_restore_rest
/usr/bin/ld: final link failed: Bad value

Willy suggested me to set CFLAGS to -O2 and now I'm getting this error:
/tmp/ccZASwhZ.s: Assembler messages:
/tmp/ccZASwhZ.s:102396: Error: Field out of range [-262144..262143] (-306632).
/tmp/ccZASwhZ.s:103161: Error: Field out of range [-262144..262143] (-308708).

Any hint on how to solve this issue? Thanks in advance.

Best Regards
