Re: HP9000/710
What first happened to me, I didn't do the "magic first step", as the
HP guys usually call it RTFM (Read That F**king Manual), was: the hard
disk must be partitioned in at least 3 partions, I mean /dev/sda1
primary, /dev/sda2 PALO's dedicated partition (Type "F0", Size 4-
10MB), /dev/sd5 swap. Then I rebooted and I started the installation.
However all I wrote is to let you understand that the first time I
tried to install woody on the 710 I forgot to partition the PALO's one
and when I finished to installe and rebooted the system it hanged. The
last line i red on the monitor, I remember, was: "Hard booted" or
something like that!
Is it possible that you didn't do it?
