"Unresolved inheritance operation" with gv, xdvi and xkeycaps

Hallo everybody,

I have installed current woody on a 712/80 and am experiencing a strange
error with several X applications, in particular gv, xdvi and xkeycaps.
All of these die with the message "Unresolved inheritance operation".
I have searched with google and got lots of hits, but found nothing that
really helps me in solving the problem. It looks like some issue with
libXt. I have tested exporting LD_BIND_NOW=1 (which helped on Alpha
for somebody), but that did not change anything for me. Other postings
I have found suggest compiler or linker bugs, but that was for platforms
other than hppa. Somebody asked on parisc-linux@lists.parisc-linux.org
some months ago, but got no answers 
(http://lists.parisc-linux.org/hypermail/parisc-linux/7915.html).
Any ideas?
