Hardware support questions

see this port ahs finaly areived at a usable (for me) level.

So I downloaded the ISO's, and burned a couple of CD's

I test booted a mchine at work (a J box), and noticed that it came up in
frmaebuffer. I could not spare this machine to install on, so I took a
9000/735-125 with the facny extrnal garphics (48CRX ?) on it and did an
 install this weekend.

However it does not appear to come up in framebuffer.

What hardware is framebuffer supported on?

How do I configure X on one of these?

Is the kernel really not posible to compile on a PA-RISC machine yet, and
if so should I set up a cross compilation environemnt, or are the prebuilt
kernels likely to have everythig I need?

Thanks for all the hard work on this, and I'm looking foward to
 experinceing Debian runing on PA_RISC!
