Yes, unfortunately this is a different issue
https://gitlab.haskell.org/ghc/ghc/-/issues/23034. I haven't tested
whether the fix for the bytestring-lexing bug helps with haskell-lua,
but the two bugs seem different.

Unfortunately no-one has worked on this for quite some time. For now, I
propose we disable Lua support for Pandoc on ppc64el. Fedora has done
the same thing.
