Hello,

git-annex recently began to FTBFS on 32-bit ARM architectures, and I am
not really in a position atm to dig deeply into the problem.

armel failure:

    ghc: panic! (the 'impossible' happened)
      (GHC version 8.8.4 for arm-unknown-linux):
    	tyThingTyCon
      Identifier ‘cMaxLen’
      Call stack:
          CallStack (from HasCallStack):
            callStackDoc, called at compiler/utils/Outputable.hs:1159:37 in ghc:Outputable
            pprPanic, called at compiler/main/HscTypes.hs:2182:28 in ghc:HscTypes
