Well, I can see that the following issue has been fixed:
> > * if the character isn't present, it should output an error.
e.g. I get
$ pandoc file --pdf-engine=xelatex -o out.pdf
[WARNING] Missing character: There is no ≤ in font [lmroman10-regular]:mapping=tex-text;!
So, if something is wrong, at least I know that I need to change
the font.
