Control: severity -1 minor Control: retitle -1 pandoc: no warning fallback-parsing as markdown (expected fixed since v2.8) Quoting John MacFarlane (2020-05-06 20:06:30) > > Thank you for your report. (At > least it does with the most recent version.) Thanks, James, for reporting this. Thanks John, for providing valuable insight to correlating this with upstream code. Seems the helpful warning was added at git commit 680d7b5 and included since upstream release 2.8. Lowered this bugreport to minor and changed its subject, by the assumption that it works also in older versions when explicitly told which format to process, and the issue therefore is one of suboptimal feedback (in older releases, which we are kinda stuck with on Debian, due to the pain of Haskell needing to be upgraded all at once and the lack of volunteers helping with maintenance of Haskell packages). - Jonas -- * Jonas Smedegaard - idealist & Internet-arkitekt * Tlf.: +45 40843136 Website: http://dr.jones.dk/ [x] quote me freely [ ] ask before reusing [ ] keep private
