It seems to be a Xserve Dual Core G5 CPU, which indeed is a 64-bit
architecture according to Wikipedia.

I tried on partch.d.o, and there I get:

$ ghci
GHCi, version 7.6.3: http://www.haskell.org/ghc/  :? for help
Loading package ghc-prim ... linking ... done.
Loading package integer-gmp ... linking ... done.
Loading package base ... linking ... done.
Prelude> import System.Info
Prelude System.Info> arch
"powerpc"
Prelude System.Info>
despite the kernel being powerpc64:
$ uname -a
Linux partch 3.2.0-4-powerpc64 #1 SMP Debian 3.2.51-1 ppc64 GNU/Linux

But it is worth a try with arch(powerpc64) as well...

Greetings,
Joachim
