About the powerpc problem: GHCi has been broken on powerpc for quite some time, so we disabled it: http://patch-tracker.debian.org/patch/series/view/ghc/7.4.0.20111219-1/no_ghci_on_powerpc Maybe you also want to do that in your config.mk.in. I guess the build failure above will go away with the next release candidate, as vector was included by accident?
