strange, after applying the patches, which has been done according to
the buildlog, ./Manual.lhs is a valid UTF8 file.

Maybe it is a bug in lhs2Tex. It was probably built with the old ghc6...
but its too late to look into that.

I assume we should import the package in our repo, upload the new
upstream version and see if that helps.
