Since hs-plugins is not actively maintained, maybe we should ask for its
removal, possibly including direct-plugins in the archive latter.  There's no
rdepends nor reverse Build-Depends.

Good work. I have very little time to maintain hs-plugins, as I'm not
using it, so I'm glad you took a look at this.
