right. I was mostly concerned with getting pkg-haskell-checkout to work,
which uses --rename.

I don’t mind another round of updates to all packages, moving adding the
filenamemangle. You just have to do it (or convince Marco to do it
again :-))

Or we could cook up a patch to uscan so that 
actually works with --download-version.
