For most package it seems that all you need to do is pass "--pristine-tar" to git-buildpackage, or add a debian/gbp.conf file as in http://git.debian.org/?p=pkg-haskell/hdbc.git;a=commitdiff;h=8c2465aeef7936f33704be2b44cfcc00e0919914 If that does not work, you need to re-import the current .orig.tar.gz with "git-import-orig --pristine-tar path/to/blubb_vers.orig.tar.gz". I uploaded some of the packages in question, but I gotta go now, so feel free to work on the rest.
